The celebration of circumcision in Egypt (احتفالية الختان بمصر)

After a brief survey of the various circumcision celebrations in Egypt in the past, the article explores, based on fieldwork conducted by the author, the current celebrations in different parts of Egypt, from Cairo and Alexandria to the oases of Siwa and the Western Desert.
