Abstract
The article provides a brief analysis of the economic development of the Middle East in the Middle Ages in light of wheat prices. In addition to highlighting the importance of wheat prices, the article concludes that the stability of wheat prices provides us with a solid foundation for further research in the field of medieval economics.
