Ibn Ra’s Ġanama and the Sources of His Book Manāqil ad-durar wa-manābit az-zuhar

This article provides an analysis of the sources of the Sevillan scholar, Ibn Ra’s Ġanama’s book titled Manāqil ad-durar wa-manābit az-zuhar, an important – albeit lesser known – historical source of Umayyad history available in only three copies today: one in the Chester Beatty Library of Dublin, and two in the Ḥassaniya Royal Library of Rabat.
