Phraseological Models of Arabic Idioms

Abstract
From a formal point of view, an idiom can be defined as the existence of a given content (meaning) in a given form of syntactic structure (model). The syntactic structure may be current or archaic, in effect any structure that existed in the period when the idiom was created. The article intends to answer questions related to the meaning and the form of idioms in Modern Standard Arabic (MSA).
