Abstract

The Department of Islamic Arts at the Louvre Museum possesses, in its collection of papyrus, a set of documents referenced under the name “Edmondon,” which will now be referred to as the “Rémondon collection.” Numbering 34 and organized under 20 identifiers, they were assembled by Denise Gerst, who married Roger Rémondon, a well-known specialist in Greek papyrology, in the early 1950s. The article provides an inventory and a first identification of these documents.
