This volume contains the collected papers of K[ároly] Czeglédy (1914–1996) published between 1948 and 1988 in mostly German, and English,  with some in Georgian, Russian, and Turkish. Professor Czeglédy’s main achievements lay in his extensive philological research on Hungarian prehistory. These studies, together with his book (From East to West: The Age of Nomadic Migrations in Eurasia, tr. by Peter Golden in 1983) and collected articles written in Hungarian and published in 1985, are the products of his vast research in this field.
